What is it?
Capetalism is a Stalk Market game that challenges players to curate the most valuable stalk portfolio. It is a radically accessible take on stock speculation that uses no money keeps the math simple, while simulating the wild ups and downs of a market bubble. It won the Ion Award for Light Games and Cardboard Edison in 2022.
How does it work?
Imagine playing Go on a hexagonal grid with 5 colors, but everyone is every color and everything everyone does might help each other secretly. As groups are surrounded they're harvested and those stalks become more valuable for everyone until one (or more!) of them finally gets too valuable and tanks the market, ending the game.
